Unable to move mouth in Character animator

Hi, I have been following the adobe tutorials for character animator, and was building a puppet. Everything is ok except the mouth that does not move, everything else does, the eyes and eyebrows and lids, but the mouth has not synched up with my mouth for some reason. it just looks like it's on place but no movement.What can I be doing wrong? Thank you.

Your microphone is off. Unless you have "Smile," "Surprised" and "Neutral" in your mouth shapes, nothing is going to happen.

Could you post an image showing the rigging and hierarchy of the puppet's mouth?

 Hi, you can see how it is in place yet when I move my mouth it doesn't respond
