noticed I have no option to select PRO mode when running character animator

tried to check for updates, selected check for updates menu option and get specific messaage: creative cloud application not found, see image attached

on Mac Studio M1 Max Machine running Monterey

the app seems to be running fine, but i did notice a variation between the UI i have and the one in the video released yesterday portaying the PRO mode selection.

That rigging video was released a little early; Starter/Pro mode (as shown here) is still in beta but will be coming to the full app very soon. You're not missing anything; what you're currently using is "pro" mode!
