Question

Value of .xml files

I just exported a CA scene as a PNG sequence and then imported the .xml into Premiere. This is the first time I've done this as opposed to importing a PNG sequence and then cutting the .wav onto it. Other than the audio coming along in a .xml import, I can see no advantage in this approach. The sequence doesn't play well until I render and it seems to be a mighty slow render.

What am I missing?
