Viewing CH videos

These questions really have nothing to do with CH - they are just video questions.

Max length of a video for YouTube? Really really long. They play full movies there remember. But nobody is likely to watch your animation that long. Most people on YouTube like short, to the point videos.

I have no experience with Twitter videos - I thought you gave a link to a YouTube video (but I could be wrong - just never tried it).

Can you insert videos into email. Hmmm. Not sure. Attaching them is generally a bad thing. Emails have size limits and videos are generally pretty big. What I think most people do is generate a HTML encoded email and embed a video player that way. Different email clients may then strip the videos as a security issue however. Have you ever received an email with video in it the way you want? If so, I would reverse engineer what they did.

Do you need audio? If not, you could consider generating an animated GIF. It is an image rather than a video, but you can get short videos (10 seconds, maybe a minute) embedded directly in mail for sure (because its an "image" rather than a video).

There is a new email format just emerging called "AMP for email" from Google that a few other email clients are picking up, but not widely adopted yet. It does support embedded video I believe - but again, you would put the video on YouTube and link to it from the email.
