Walk cycle issue

Hi

I have a question about the walk of the characters. We drew a character with 3 views. Our problem is, that when we do the rigging exactly like in the video, the character is a bit smaller while walking. When it stops, it grows up and the character is bigger again. On the left side the problem is more pronounced than on the right. Is there some special rigging that counteracts this? Here are some screenshots and an example video of the problem, we can't solve. Thank you for your answer!

Thats the height of the character while walking which is smaller.

And here he's standing and bigger.

I have you a little video to see what i mean further down.

As Alan mentioned, neck and head pin positioning are crucial to a good walk behavior. Watching your screen recording, though, the biggest problem I see is that your views aren't aligned with each other. If you take the two screenshots in your original post and stack them in Photoshop and toggle back and forth you'll see that the feet aren't on the same plane. You can't have the resting position be in one spot and then have the actual steps be happening lower than the resting feet. Can you post a screenshot of your Rigging Panel with both views turned on to confirm that the feet are aligned in the art? If they are then I do think the neck and head pins could be the solve here.

I spent a lot of time going through Ai file making certain everything is aligned. Hopefully, I got all of it. This video should give you guys what you need to troubleshoot this problem. Good luck cause I give up. We might have to try the arrow key method suggested by Alan. I'll mess with ease in and out but I don't see that making a difference.

I cannot view the view on my iPad sorry, but could you share a screen shot of the rigging panel? The position of Head, Neck, Waist, Hips etc handles is very important. Sometimes moving them around relative to each other and adjusting the walk strength in the behavior can make a big difference.
