I am trying to get my character running to run but it is taking huge leaps vertically between strides. How can I reduce how much the character hops?

Tuned for Motion Library:

I may have overdone the work with the Leader-Follower attaching the head to the neck.

General tips

  • Play around with the placement of body tag handles
  • Motion Library settings for strictly right-facing puppets: set Orientation to 90 and uncheck Preferred Orientation (you may need to also check Mirror for some motions)
  • Limb IK settings for strictly right-facing puppets: uncheck Auto Arm Bend, check Reverse Arm Bend Right
