What are the different ways to control the eyes/pupils??

Hey Gang!

Are there any different ways to control the pupils aside from the motion/camera tracking? Can you have the pupils follow the mouse for example??  If there are any other methods, I'd love to hear what they are!

Thank you!

Update: please ignore my last question. I realized that I needed to select the Character on the stage in order to access the Input  Types 🙂

Yes there is. If you look to the properties panel (to the right of the stage) you will find "Eye Gaze" in the Puppet Track panel. By default, it's set to camera, but you can also set it to Mouse or Keyboard input by clicking on the buttons.

That's exactly what I was looking for. Thanks so much @TheOriginalGC !

Question: I opened up Character Animator [2024 v.24.2] and the Eye Gaze Panel looks different from yours [see attached]. There aren't the Input checkboxes that yours has- it just has the strength attributes.  Do I need to enable something elkse before Mouse Input is possible??
