Why do my Arm tags disappear in when I resave my Illustrator file?

I am really loving learning this program, but I am still struggling with some basics.

I have set the same arm tags for ARM IK and everything was working fine, but when I go back to my illustrator file > make a small edit > then Save > Go back to CharacterAnimator > the tags dissappear? What am I doing wrong! Been using the chole template.

Which tags disappear? Could you show a screenshot of rigging too? That does sound strange as I normally have more problem tags sticking around and having to be removed by hand.

Note if you restructure the puppet hierarchy (e.g. change a upper layer name or introduce a new layer) then CH frequently thinks you deleted lots of artwork and added other artwork. It does not know it was an edit. So the more you restructure the hierarchy of the puppet, the more tags may be lost. But understanding which tags can help - if you name the layers correctly then it will "auto-tag" them, and then edits will get auto tagged as well (nothing lost).
