Why have updates to Character Animator stopped?

I haven't seen an update to Adobe Character Animator for a long, long time (apart from occasional bug fixes). I don't see Okay Samurai talking about any upcoming features. Is this product getting shelved?
Are AI videos getting more attention at Adobe?

Hopefully not, but the product would be only a small users in comparision to their more popular apps.
