We have upgraded our application recently from CF10 to CF2018 Update 5. Apart from the JS library changes, we are seeing performance relevant issues. The time to load has increased exponentially. e.g. the ext-all.js is taking around 10-30 secs to load on different servers. Even a simple image would take 2-5 secs load. If someone could help me here. Thanks in advance

Hi, I have a new website on CF2016 Enterprise. Its returning 500 - Internal Server Error when browsing .cfm pages. seems to be okay for .htm The new second wesbite is my first time installing a second website on a CF server running mutliple CF servers which may be compunding the problem. The website that is working does have a jakarta VD pointing to: C:\ColdFusion2016\config\wsconfig\2The website that does NOT work has a virtual directory is pointing to C:\ColdFusion2016\config\wsconfig\1 I've run WSCONFIG ( as admin ) from the folder C:\ColdFusion2016\my new website folder\runtime\bin and it displays both websites the same:   I'm probably missing something obvious.    

After a mail server problem, I have many undelivered mail in the Coldfsuion Mail "undelivr" directory.The Mail server is up againIs there a possibility to resend all these mails ?I tried a copy/paste of mails into the "spool" directorybut these mail are resent into the "undelivr" directoryand new mails are sent correctly.Thanks for help.Pierre.

I would like to extract the nth occurance of a token from a string based on the position of a pattern matching more than one characters, vs. the single character list of delimiters that GetToken() supports. GetToken() is great in many contexts, but not this one! Haven't found anything in CFLib, but maybe I'm just looking in the wrong places. Seems like it should be a common need.    

Hello,   I am trying to register our new Coldfusion license for 2018 on the Developer version installed on our server. I am going into the settings summary on the Admin page , as per the instrauctions it says I should see a New License field but I do not see any new license field.  All I see at the top is "When clicked, generates a PDF with the Server Settings in a new Window. " How to register my Developer version with the new license key ?    Also I would like to use the same Enterprise version license for our Development and Production servers, is this possible ? ThanksIQ

Hi Adobe,are you serious about deprecating RB?We are producing thousands of pdf files every day based on cfr-reports.Reporting is a big usage-area for CF in many companies I think.Why are you abandoning it?Is there already a plan when RB will no longer be available in CF?What are your recommendations on alternatives to use?Will Crystal Reports be supported in the future or is this to be dropped, too?Would be nice to have a statement on this.Thank youJörg

Probably the way our IT has Chrome and IE configured and locked down but neither will download Coldfusion 2018 trial.Is there a direct link somebody can send me that uses a more normal download method?I need to get started on migrating our department from CF 11 to 2018, a lot of work, and I can't get started! Thanks

I installed CF 2018 on a Windows 2016 server, and have migrated an older CF website to the new server.  In the main folder of the website, the login page is functioning. If the login is not successful, the next page is in the same directory, and it also functions.  With a successful login, the user is redirected to another folder and the 500 error occurs. The same issue happens with any other page I try to access outside of the root folder. Html pages will load, but not CF. So CF appears to be functioning, but only at the main folder level. I'm assuming this is a problem in my permissions, but I have been unable to find what is set incorrectly. Thank you, Michelle

I think I know the answer but I'll throw it out there anyway. Does DateConvert adjust for the daylight savings time setting of the actual date/time being convertted to or from local? In other words, will dates stored as UTC suddenly be one hour off  after the DST switch when dateConvert('utcToLocal',value) is applied? BTW, I hate the whole concept of DST. #StopDST

Hi All,   We are using ColdFusion 2018 and a Oracle 11G Database. I am trying to redirect users to a change password page when the username is expired.   Users are database users who access the ColdFusion front-end. As of now we get an error message as shown below.  Upon clicking login(submit button) , users go to the authenticate.cfm page which displays the error messsage shown below, instead of this I would like them to another page within the application called changepassword.cfm (I already have this page). we are using ColdFusion 11 enterprise , every evening our database backup team taking database offline for baclup, unfortunatly some user are trying to access same database, we wanted to setup error page on that datasource availability, need help 

I have a very simple page that the user scans a serial number barcode into a form, the form submits and adds a single entry into the SQL table. When we first built this site Firefox was causing duplicate entries on every submit. Switched to Chrome and it stopped. Now 18 months later and randomly (about 1 out of every 10) there's a duplicate entry when using Chrome or IE. The time stamp on the duplicate entry is fractions of a second later. As a test, I added a 5-second delay after the submission to make sure wasn't the page refreshing so fast that the barcode was scanned twice and still randomly we get duplicate entries. When the problem first happened in Firefox I found a post about a possible cause. Of course, I can't find it again.  I'm running CF 2016 with all the latest patches, Windows Server 2016 running IIS. Thoughts?

I have a newly installed Win 2012 R2, IIS and CF 2018 Enterprise. Two websites set up in IIS, two instances created in CF, websites are not connected to cf yet. Static html is served perfectly by iis.Following the instructions of the lockdown guide I run the lockdown program for one of the cf instances and the corresponding website. Trying to setup coldfusion 2018 on SUSE Linux using systmd service file.Using the following:[Unit]Description=Adobe ColdFusion 2018Requires=network.targetAfter=multi-user.target[Service]Type=forkingExecStart=/opt/coldfusion2018/cfusion/bin/coldfusion startExecStop=/opt/coldfusion2018/cfusion/bin/coldfusion stopExecReload=/opt/coldfusion2018/cfusion/bin/coldfusion restart[Install]WantedBy=multi-user.target But CF will not start or it starts and stops.  Will only work using an interactive startup.  /opt/coldfusion2018/cfusion/bin/coldfusion start There is no documentation that I can find regarding setting up CF as a service on Linux distros.Any thoughts?

Whenever I Install ColdFusion2016 updates, it does not show the latest update number in updates tab. Howver under hf-updates it shows the insatlled update and also shows in lib/updates folder.I restarted the CF services howver no luck.  Even When I open update file under hf-updates folder it also shows the older version.How can I fix this problem.

Hi,Since quite a few years I've been running some applications under CF 9 on a Windows 2008 webserver.This system will not been supported by Microsoft anymore starting next year, so I'm thinking about some migration toward Windows 2016 or 2018.The questions are:1. is CF 9 installable on this sytem?2. is it possible to run the 32 bit version, since I have some CFX_ modules running in 32 bit mode?
