I have an issue with a CFIF statement that is driving me nuts. Hi,I am doing the Update 12 on my Coldfusion 2016 Enterprise Edition using this command below:sudo /usr/java/latest/jre/bin/java -jar hotfix-012-315717.jar and I am having Fatal Error below:Moving files failed: Status: FATAL ERROR Additional Notes: FATAL ERROR - Could not move the file /opt/coldfusion2016/cfusion/jetty/lib to the backup location /opt/coldfusion2016/cfusion/hf-updates/hf-2016-00012-315717/backup/jetty/lib I don't have any idea what's wrong. Is there a way to configure CF2018 to use smtp.gmail.com and port 587 and TLS checkbox set when 2-step authentication is applied to the gmail account being used? I'm not seeing any posts on this topic.  I'm using Commandbox environment for my local dev environment and configured it to load Adobe CF2018. This gives me the CF Admin Mail page where I enter my mail server as smtp.gmail.com and port 587 and TLS. But the connection fails. In the Mail log it indicates it's not authenticating due to 2-step auth in use for the account. Do I have to disable 2-step or does Adobe provide a way to handle it?

Our application has been successfullying using cfhtmltopdf for months now.  Following a patch installation last week, we're seeing an error but there is precious little detail to go on.  Are you seeing similar?   ColdFusion Server Enterprise 2018Error occurred while generating PDF. Hello, in the documentation for the decrypt/encrypt functions it mentions that the enterprise edition offers more robust cryptography options as far as algos, etc but then it goes on to say that the standard edition works with all of the ones listed in the parameters list. So I guess what I need to know is if standard edition works with AES256? thanks.

Hello,I maintain a Coldfusion 9 Application that I inherited, and I need to move the applications into a more powerfull and modern Server since the old one is out of memory and low performance.I need to access the CFIDE administrator page to copy the pathing configurations to the new one to make it work (according to a handy tutorial), however, when trying to access the page, I get :Error Occurred While Processing Request unexpected constant #2 99and then browser info. Any idea how to fix it? Or a way around, like an exporting tool or something? I have very low knowledge of Coldfusion. Thanks in Advance

Currently have Coldfusion 2016 installed on Redhat 6 which connects to Oracle 12c database on Previously we had update v5 install and yesterday using the web console, I appled v6 followed by v11 and then finally v12 on our prodcution system. Within an hour of doing the patch update to v12 it exceeded 300 cursors on the Oracle, something we'd never expericed before. Since it was a key production system we increased the cursor size to 600. However the cursor continued to raise with the DBA have to take drastics action on the Oracle database to provent a crash.  My questions is this normal behavior for the v12 patch to incease the amount of Oracle cursors?Will there be a v13 to correct this cursor issue? Another thing, I noticed in the process that v8 was not present to be upgraded to as I remember on the development.

Hi I have purchased a Coldfusion 2018 standard licence. I would like to use it on a Coldfusion 2016 server. When installing the CF 2016 server the 2018 serial number is not accepted. Is there a procedure to use a 2018 serial number on a 2016 instance? Cheers Daryl

Does anyone know a way to globally disable the use of a (#) sign by the end user?  I have created code to replace the (#) sign on formfields that users would likely use a (#) sign, but that would be a very timeconsuming task for every text box on the site.  Would love any ideas or suggestions from anyone who may have a solution.

I am getting this error, while converting few random documents to pdf.  error: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/google/common/cache/CacheLoader at coldfusion.runtime.StructBean.(StructBean.java:79) This issue is occuring with random documents and for 50% of the documents code works fine.I am not sure why this error is thrown. Can someone please help me figure this out. Thanks

I am having to manually change my file extensions when saving in photoshop.  For example if I am trying to save a psd file as a jpeg I click save as then jpeg but the top (where you see the file name and extension) does not change and I have to manually type jpeg in there.  This is extremely furstrating becuase I am constnatnly changing file extensions.  Please someone have a fix for this.
