This page clearly states that Coldfusion Builder 3 has a Tag Editor. How do you open it? It's not on the sad excuse for a tag menu and Ctrl T, Ctl Alt T, Ctrl Shift T don't do a thing. I have a query which has run well on our old server. However we've upgraded to CF2016 and yet when I run a query of a query I get no results.<cfquery datasource="travcomus" name="firstquery">  SELECT * FROM tablename</cfquery>Followed by<cfquery dbtype="Query" name="secondquery" >  select * from firstquery</cfquery>Any ideas?

Hi all,I am new to cold fusion and i am facing a problem which has been pointed out by our security team on an application wirtten in cold fusion:We have an application written in cold fusion, for which the login page is lets say the below -https://xxx.com/vendor/index.cfmNow the vendor is the root directory and it has subdirectories containing the cfm files. So if i do https://xxx.com/vendor/common/abc.cfm , i am able to access the abc.cfm which is in the common folder inside the vendor directory. Now the problem is that if i do https://xxx.com/vendor/common/ , it shows meon browser the list of files present in the common directory, which is not acceptable.. I can see that putting index.cfm in the common folder resolves the problem by redirecting me to the index page. But since there are approximately 120 subdirectories , is there a way to do this in a better way other than putting an index.cfm in every folder ? I tried the missing page handler on the server colsole but no luck. Any a

Dear All,I have some issue on installing ColdFusion 2016 on RedHat Enterprise Linux 7.2 ppc64. when i try to run the installer it's always saying "JRE libraries are missing or not compatible".anyone can help me on this case? what am i missing here?FYI, i already try to do the installation using 32 bit and 64 bit and the result is always the same.Really appreciated for this big help.

I have a web application that generate Excel Spreadsheets with formulas, colors and formatting.If the XLS generated by the application is opened from an Office 2013, we randomly loose the formatting (and colors) in the middle of the page. (It starts corrently but at some point, the formatting seems to stops for an entire column or two).It works well with Office 2010 so it looks like there is some sort of imcompatibility issue.Note. Dear Sir / Madam,CF license - how long will take to be delivered

I am stumped with a payment gateway integration. A client was forced to move to a new gateway processor. The new TSL requirement then forced me to upgrade the server & their site to CF11 (up from CF9).I have replaced appropriate information but cannot make a connection to the new gateway. I am not a strong programmer and have little CF knowledge. Does anyone have any insight or able to take a look? It is set up with a test sandbox.I do not know if my issue is in formatting the XML or CFHTTP or...?Any help appreciated, thanks.Cheers

This is happening in 2 identical environments:Brand new machine, fresh copy of CF10 Standard x64 on Windows Server 2k8 R2.  CF is patched through update 11.  CF always fails to start after a reboot.  I go into manually start the service and it takes 3-4 tries (and 10-15 minutes) to get it going.  This is usually the case if I ever try to restart the service manually (without reboot), although occasionally it starts back up with no problem.If I try to start the service from the command line, it hangs at "INFO: starting servlet engine: Apache Tomcat/7.0.23" for about 8-10 minutes before finally continuing on and starting up.  This jibes with the service problems as the Windows service probably gets tired of waiting on the servlet engine and gives up.Any idea as to what could be causing the delay?

I am in the process of upgrading one of our production CF servers to update 11.8.The update installs but when I check things out in the cf admin the DSNs are reporting back the following on verification:SQLNonTransientConnectionException: [Macromedia][Oracle JDBC Driver]No more data available to read.I have also tried the following updates: 11.9 and 11.10 and get the same errors.Each time I have had to roll back the update.Any help in resolving this would be appreciated.Thank you.The current server info is:Server ProductColdFusionVersion11,0,07,296330EditionEnterprise Operating SystemWindows Server 2012 OS Version6.2 Update Level/C:/ColdFusion11/cfusion/lib/updates/chf11000007.jar Adobe Driver Version5.1.3 (Build 000094)

Just a quick one. Is it possible to unhash / decrypt an SHA hashed field and if so how?

I use Windows 10. In my advanced settings, Flash is turned on. Using the adobe test, it says my flash is not turned on. I can play youtube and other things but typically if I try to open something in email that requires flash, it tries to get me to upgrade which of course I can't.Hopefully this written description helps.Bill

Hello,Weblogic 10.3.3, Coldfusion 9.0.0 deployed as an application.We've had this working for at least 5 months, and restarted the application server many times with no problems.We restarted today and we get the output below. I have a website that worked fine with Coldfusion 10 and now I have updated to Coldfusion 11 and this code doesn't work:<cfheader name="content-disposition" value="inline; filename=#vPublicFile#" /> <cfcontent type="application/pdf" file="#DownloadFolder##qryDownload.fileNameOnserver#" deleteFile="no" />If I type in the URL directly to the PDF file it loads fine, but if I try to get it through this code then I get the message "failed to load PDF document".  Even if I change the code to allow me to save the file, I get a saved file but it won't open in acrobat.I know the code is working code, I tried it with Coldfusion 10 again just to make sure.  Something about 11 is stopping it from working.  Any ideas?

I have set up a scheduled task in ColdFusion Administrator using CF9. This is set up to go to a specified URL, and when this is run in a browser it sends an email as expected. However, when using the scheduled tasks, nothing happens. I have viewed the scheduler.log file and it says that it is executing as expected. One thing I have noticed, is that there is nothing under the Application Name in the server.log file.Any suggestions here would be most welcome.

Hello, all,I'm using canonicalize() as part of a URL and FORM scope sanitizing process, and it's not doing what the specs say it should do.For example, in scrubbing a URL parameter, the following _should_ throw an error:www.domain.com/page.cfm?var=home%27alert(%22abc%22)%27This should trigger an error, and cause my onError() handler in application.cfc to run.  But it isn't working.url.var = canonicalize(url.var,true,true);What is going on???  Why isn't this throwing an error?V/r,^_^
