Hello, all,We've been seeing a lot of the following, recently, in our logs:http://www.domain.com/getfile.cfm?uuid{a CF uuid}'A=0When I entered this in my browser, I was presented with a dialogue to open or save "getfile.cfm".  My boss was in a bit of a panic, thinking that someone found a way to download our .cfm templates, thusly exposing all of our code.As it turns out, all it is really getting is the HTML generated on the fly by our CF server.  Okay.. no more sweating bullets.. but, still a concern.What is the best way to thwart attempts like this (harmless as they are)?  I've got form and URL scopes going through both Portcullis and canonicalize().  What else can I do?Much appreciated.V/r,^_^

Hi all, I am new to coldfusion. I have a page which has multi select dropdown .After selecting click on ok button calls javascript and selected values of dropdown are populated in other multipick dropdown. Hello Community!Working on application isolation paired with multi instance load balancing and came across what I would consider a bug.The uriworkermap.properties file included in the mod_jk.conf for Apache on RHEL 7 is seemingly completely ignored by my virtualhost.In all the documentation I came across, the uriworkermap.properties is where to specify the mount points for each of the workers.What clued me into it not working as I had anticipated, was that every time I ran ab to test the load balancing between different application paths, the first worker listed in workers.properties->worker.list would always handle the requests.The solutions I have come across so far :1. Include the uriworkermap.properties inside of the <virtualhost> configJkMountFile "/opt/coldfusion2016/config/wsconfig/1/uriworkermap.properties"2. I am having an issue with my ColdFusion 10 enterprise server. On the ColdFusion Administrator page, underneath "DATA & SERVICES" I am missing "Rest Services". Does anyone know how I can get this option to show up?

Hello,I am currently considering virtualizing our current ColdFusion 11 Standard server and would like some clarification on the licensingaspect. Reading the EULA it states one license allows for one virtual machine with up to two vcores/vprocs. What I’m unclear about is the GHZ restrictions. The 5GHz is per vcore or per virtual machine?  Is this a host restriction or can be throttled on the VM instance? For instance, can you have a single VM with 2 vcores at 3 GHz  with a single license or do they need to be throttled at 2.5GHz?As far as physical server if I understand correctly you define CPU not by physical processor but # of cores divided by 4.  So one standard license would cover a one physical processor with up to 4 cores or 2 CPU with up to 8 cores total?Please correct/clarify as needed. Hello, I am just beginning to work with CFGrid and CFForm and I have an extremely simple flash CFGrid that is not populating. The headers load fine from my query, but the data does not. I am sure the query returns data, because I output it on the screen directly before I display the grid, and everything is fine. Hello, all,We recently received a new STIG for our environment, and one of the "findings" is for request timeout error template.  Basically, if the CFAdmin setting is blank or set to default, it's a finding.  We are required to create a custom request timeout error page and place it in the webroot (where CFIDE is not), then update the CFAdmin to point to it.Problem is that I have no idea what the request timeout error page is supposed to do.  I tried to review the code for the default .cfm page that handles this, but (of course) Adobe encrypted it, so I can't see what it's doing.Pointers greatly appreciated.V/r,^_^

Hi All,I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. The form that I have has 11 records but my CFloop to CFQUERY is only returning 1 result. I'm expecting to see 11 records in the Recordset2_UPDATE query. Hello, all,I just wanted to let everyone know about something that recently happened to me.  I have a side-project that is nearing completion, and I started up a hosted account for it, which currently just displays one page with a link to the org FB page, and a notice that the site will be going live, soon.Someone guessed my password for my Network Solutions account page, and on 06 JULY 2016 submitted a DNS Change Request, pointing the DNS from the Hostek DNS to something at ZTOMY.COM.  As soon as I discovered it, I changed it back to what it should be; foolishly, I didn't change my password, so about an hour later, the hacker logged back on and switched it back to the ZTOMY.COM address.I have changed my password, and re-changed the DNS back to what it should be. THE IMPORTANT THING TO KNOW:  The ZTOMY.COM address was re-directing from my website to a page that looked authentically like a Network Solutions page, asking me to enter a CAPTCHA and log on to confirm my email

RGSAYWELLI was having a tidy up and moved the CFIDE folder to another drive where I thought it was already installed.I then realised that I could not get on to any of the sites, I got error 503 when I tried.I copied the folder back but have still had no joy in accessing the sites so I must have mixed up settings somewhere. I think it is to do with IIS but cannot find anything.I have tried adding new sites but with no success.Can I repair the coldfusion 9 installation in some way or should I re-install it?Any ideas would be welcomed.RegardsRon

Hello,So, first, some background - I need TLS 1.2 to work on my CF10 server for CFHTTP requests to PayPal (https://www.paypal-knowledge.com/infocenter/index?page=content&widgetview=true&id=FAQ1914&viewlocale=en_US).After doing a bit of research, I'm still unsure as to whether you can actually get TLS 1.2 working with Java 7 on CF10, even though Java 7 supports it (see http://www.coldfusionmuse.com/index.cfm/2014/12/8/colfusion-jvm-versions-sslv3-tls) which has me wondering whether I need Java 8.So, I'm thinking of upgrading CF10 to Java 8 which I know DOES work with TLS 1.2 but I rely heavily on SOLR and after reading Charlie Arehart's excellent article (CF911: 'Help! I've updated the JVM which ColdFusion uses, and now it won't start!' - Charlie Arehart's ColdFusion Troubl…) I'm concerned that whatever SOLR version shipped with CF10 won't be compatible with Java 8 and that having CF and SOLR pointing to different JREs is a bad idea. I have created a wide bar chart using CFChart in CF10.There are quite a few bars and the labels are too wide, causing some labels to not print.Does anyone know exactly how to angle them at 45 degrees like most charting tools allow?I am ok with changing the style for all CF charts to an angled label.Or, have you solved this without setting the labels at an angle?Thanks!
