When I am installing cf11 using IIS as the web server I cannot get the cf administrator to work. IIS tries to download the index.cfm rather than running it. This is only a problem with administrator as if I browse to my site, it will run the cfm, but obviously I have no datasources configured so it falls overI have tried http://127.0.0.1/CFIDE/administrator/index.cfm and http://localhost/CFIDE/administrator/index.cfm Both just ask if I want to open or save the index.cfmDoes work ok if I use the inbuilt web server and go through port 8500, but need to get this installed on our public facing servers using IISAnyone any ideas

CF11 w/update 6 cluster on Windows Server 2012 R2.  Secure profile.  The cluster includes two instances, one on a remote VM, and one a "home" instance (on same VM as IIS website and cfusion instance in which I create the cluster), and I think I set it up more or less in a standard way.  Everything works fine after I set it up.  Restarting the remote instance works fine.  Restarting the "home" instance--even after no changes to anything--results in the instance hanging during startup and may not be shut down except via Task Manager.  Any help from cluster experts out there would be greatly appreciated.  I'm happy to provide additional setup or diagnostic info.Setup detailsNothing unusual about the configuration, except maybe that the home directory for the website is in an alternate directory per lockdown recommendations.  I also add maxThreads and connectionTimeout attributes to the Connector node for AJP/1.3 in server.xml.  When registering

I have some old application in ColdFusion 5 connecting to Oracle 9 and SQL.  We have upgraded to Oracle 11 making it incompatibel.  Is upgrading to ColdFusion 11 an option?  Are there known issues and challenges?

I have a popup form action page that opens by using the form/target="_blank"  attribute.The new document does a database insert and then creates a PDF using the <cfdocument> tag.I'm trying update some elements on the parent/opener form page as it is common for the client to continue using the parent, make some changes, and generate another PDF. I have a client who sends out postcards to his clients.  Currently he is using a MS Word mail merge system, and he wants to switch to a more automated system using ColdFusion.  I have the original document as a PDF, and I'd like to use ColdFusion to populate the fields.  He also wants to be able to edit the non-filled information.Is it easier/better, to use the original PDF and fill the form using cfpdf, or should I generate the entire document in ColdFusion (using cfdocument, maybe?) and then convert to a PDF?Thanks!

Hi all. We would like to implement a counter of events in the header of our application without resetting the session, meaning the session should time out as if no call to a cfc and function were made. We are thinking that if we polled a function, the session would never time out. We don't want to use websockets because they are a bit buggy in CF10-hence the polling route.Anyone know how we can do this?Thanks for your time.-Andy

I have passed an image and crop values to my form action page. In downloaded PDF the images displays as red * marksTheCF server and  the client uses  SSL, In ODF cfdocument maked HTTP calls to get images, this HTTP call can't get the correct response due to the restriction by client SSL.can we convert cfpdf HTTP to HTTPS calls. for this conversion do I need to import SSL from client browser in coldfusion JRE's bin, with keytool command and restart CF.please suggest me.

Ever since my server went to Coldfusion 11, the cfcalendar does not show up on my pages.  Is there a difference tag for this or has this tag been depracated?

I have a dashboard with graphs and tables. when i am clicking on the pdf button  the graphs are missing in the pdf. For this same problem on a different server i have increased the  the time to live of each chart option in cold fusion administrator settings and that worked for me over there. Now i am working on a different server but have same cold fusion administrator settings but still my graphs are missing in the pdf. Is this happening due to any SSL Certificate issue or some Fire wall settings.Can anyone please help me on this?

I just installed ColdFusion 11 Developer on a Windows 7 system.  I am using the internal web server.  I can access CF apps from the server using http://127.0.0.1:8500/CFIDE/passme/hello.cfm, but when I attempt to access CF from my laptop, I get "Cannot locate internet server.  I have attempted to access the server using its real IP but also fail.
