When saving a word doc as pdf the TOC changes all the page numbers to 2? Any help would be gratefully received.G

Hi, We have recently undergone the process of installing ColdFusion 10 Standard on our new server, and were looking to test performance across the two. Within the ColdFusion Administrator, Server Monitoring>Settings and Server Monitoring>Server Monitor, I receive the message, "This feature is not available in this edition of the ColdFusion server.Under System Information the version is listed as 10.0.11.285437 and up to date. The server itself is running Windows Server 2008 R2.This was the original article to configure server monitoring. However I then ended up with another article, which involved editing neo-monitoring.xml (linked in previous), which did not appear to do anything.If someone can shed some light on why I am getting this error, as it says the standard version only limits use of the monitoring API, that would be much appreciated.Thanks, Scott

We are using the Apache httpclient 4.1.2 to post to an external server, using SSL. The post works fine when running it from the Java JRE , but when the code runs under a JRUN/Colfusion instance that uses the same Java JRE the error message returned is:javax.net.ssl.SSLPeerUnverifiedException: peer not authenticated      at com.sun.net.ssl.internal.ssl.SSLSessionImpl.getPeerCertificates(SSLSessionImpl.java:352)      at org.apache.http.conn.ssl.AbstractVerifier.verify(AbstractVerifier.java:128).......When debugging the connect using the -Djavax.net.debug=all setting, the error message shown internally is:java.lang.RuntimeException: Could not generate secret Is there some weird ColdFUsion setting we need to undo to make this work? We installed the cert from the other server in the /rje/lib/sercurity/cacerts file but that did not make a difference. We have a table, 2 columns.  ID and NAME.  When our application installs, the script writes 3 records to it in the following sequence: 'Admins', 'Users', 'Visitors'.  So one would think, the table data looks like:ID - NAME1 - Admins2 - Users3 - VisitorsSo, when it comes to coding the application, is it better practice to assume that "Admins will always have an ID of 1, so I can write a SQL statement that may reference:  WHERE ID = 1 -- These are adminsOr should I be dynamic, where I would build a function called: getIDByName() and you can pass in the name 'Admins' and it will perform a SQL run and return back the number 1.  This would mean that when I write the above SQL statement I would say:.... WHERE ID = getIDByName( 'Admins' ) -- AdminsI have a feeling that dynamic is the better approach, even though it means I'll have to code in more functions to automate it.

I need to create an XML Document with an element that requires the attribute i:nil=true. I've tried <cfset StructInsert(mydoc.employee.name.XmlAttributes, "i:nil", "true")>, but it returns the error "The right hand side of the assignment is not of type XML Node". What I want is to create an element like this: <name i:nil="true"/>Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello All, This was brought to my attention that when we have a toggle switch that either displays or hides cells below, it completely ruins the look. Everything has always worked correctly in previous versions but not now. I am running CF9 64bit on windows 7. I created the database on mySQL 5.6 server. I created the datasource, theough the CF Admin, for kalendar and it verified. I then tried using the following code to create 2 table, but I recevied an error that just says "Error!" when I tried running the script. I posted the script on  mySQL forums and was told the code ran fine. I know I can use the following line to change the column name: alter table tablename change "First Name" (Parenthesis used for clarification only) FirstName varchar (10) ;my problem is the column name has a space in it, ie: First Name . So mySQL thinks it is changing "First" to "Name" then it hits the name I want it changed to and goes berserk. How can I change this? I can't even delete it. It happened when I imported Microsft SQL into  mySQL database.

I am trying to get into the Ask Jan a question on the Janome.com site and a screen comes up saying to check my Cold Fusion documentation to make sure that I am using the correct syntax.  I do not understand this at all.  HELP!!!

Yes, I know cflayout is the worst but I am trying to use it nonetheless. It's working fine (providing I realise its limits) ... on two web sites on one piece of hardware (server).  We have our own servers. We're trying to add a 3rd virtual host.  So we can production, preview and r and d.  Our production server is working fine ... as is our r and d server. So, on the exact same box, I made a copy of the folders that run production.  Same db source, same files, same CF server; same everything, except different folder. Same paths. When I run the preview site, the site itself work perfectly until it comes time to display a cflayout. Tabs do not show. Tab content does show, one underneath the other.  But where the real site show with a width of say 800, I barely get 200. No errors. I can only assume that maybe something in IIS is not mapped correctly? Happy to share screen shots by PM.

I recently Migrated our sharepoint from windows 2003 to 2008. In doing so I lost Cold fusion and a directory Wizard, This wizard was put in place to create a folder directory out on our network drive when used. Now I have Coldfusion 10 installed on my new sharepoint server, I have brought over all of these directory wizard files but it still does not work. Its like I am missing a certain link in the chain here. Can anyone shed some light on the topic?The wizard opens up to the first page, which it says next to continue. You would select a company which the code is written to pull a companies list from the network drive, then it creates a folder directory with files in the on that network drive. Now when you lick the initital next button it buttons and takes us to a The website cannot display the page. I still have all the original code files, placed into the same exact directory on the sharepoint server. The sharepoint server is an identical match, but its like somewhere something isnt

i am using a eclipse with 2 different plugins - cfeclipse and Team Foundation ServerI  have a project in TFS, and have the same project created in a workspace:Sue_workspace - workspace name     .metadata     Sue_Project          .project           file1.cfm          file2.cfmso that is what my directory looks likeI have set it up with Team/Share to connect it with TFSi can manually check out a file by right clicking and choosing check out file - this will add it to the pending changes in the the Team Foundation perspective2 problems with the cfeclipse perspective1 - the files in the cfeclipse persepctive are not set up as read only (there is no little red dot on the icon) - i have another project that is set up this way but i have no idea how they did it2- how do i make the files automatically check out - if

I have installed coldfusion8 configured as built in web server.  I am using dreamweaver to develop dynamic web pages.  I have created a simple static page with .cfm extention.  When I put the page to the test server to view in a browser, first time, there is no problem.  When I make changes to my page and test it again, I do not see the changes.  The same old page comes up without the changes.  If I change the file name and try it again, the page with all my changes shows up fine. It appears the coldfusion8 built in test server keeps showing my original from memory and is not refreshing unless I change the file name.I will appreciate any help to solve this problem.Thanks,Mohanlg

I am wanting to know if I can use CFLOOP through a query and if a field is not empty create a new div for each of the database records content.  Is this possible or do I need to use just the normal cfoutput?

I'm having trouble pinpointing if anything changed with the cffile upload mime type in CF10.  It was working fine in 9, but I'm getting the following error when uploading a jpg file type in CF10.The MIME type or the Extension of the uploaded file image/jpeg was not accepted by the server. How do I create a document on my I pad; I'm frustrated because what I create is page by page?  I have four pages; I want a four + page pdf.

Is there a way to apply an Access Control List to ORM components? Or maybe another methodology to limit record access depending on the users role(s)? I couldn't find anything on the Web about this. Thanks!

CFCHART is not rendering on our server for some reason. We  cache to disk and are generating a .SWF file. The. SWF is in the chart cache folder ok, and can be viewed separately, however it will not render within a web page.
