has anyone done this?  We just upgraded one of our nodes and CFIDE is giving us an db incompatibility error.Windows 2016 ServerMSSQL Server 2017 cu13CF2016 EnterpriseCF2018 Enterprisethe clustered scheduled tasks was initialized with CF2016we try to go to CF2018's CFIDE Scheduled Tasks and attach this new node to the existing datasource for the cluster that has existing running schema.is it possible CF2018's clustered scheduler is not compatible with CF2016's clustered scheduler?

Somehow I managed to forget my CF21 admin password. I ran the passwordreset.bat. (selected option 1). I looked in neo-security.xml to verify the admin user name. Restarted the services and still can't get in. Restarted the server - still can't get in. I've done the entire procedure multiple times trying a couple of different password combos. Tried changing the admin username in neo-security and restarted everything. I'm out of ideas. What am I missing??? Gary

I'm working on setting up the scheduled tasks in coldfusion 2018. I have already configured it in the cluster mode and its working.Our concern is that we have to create ITaskEventHandlers scripts for each app on the coldfusion document root source folder of the file system.For example document root is /disk1/cfdata/source and the folder called scheduler has to reside here, for example /disk1/cfdata/source/scheduler and apps paths are /disk1/cfdata/source/webapps/app1, /disk1/cfdata/source/webapps/app2I think that ITaskEventHandlers scripts should be in the app folder along side the other source code and not outside in the centralized location. Can this be changed so ITaskEventHandlers scripts are in the source code?

Hello good people - I've an 'easy;' one whipping my butt.I have two random dates, I need to display how many years, months, days have passed between the dates. I've been playing around with DateDiff and its all fine to "year" level, but days and months are killing me.  I tried one of Ben Nadel's techniques, but I end up with a "12" on my month counter when it should be "0".  (For the record, for testing purposes I had my two dates precisely a year apart, and got 1 year and 12 months... erm, no!)Yes, I have searched these forums (and others).  Yes, I got lost as none of them are helpful, either over complicared, or too siimple "Just use datediff()".  I cannot beleive somehting this simple (which I can do in Excel* in 12 seconds) has now been taking all weekend on Coldfusion.*Example of Excel code which is working 100%=DATEDIF(E6,B!, "y") & " y " & DATEDIF(E6, B1, "ym") & " m " & DATEDIF(E6,B1, "md") & " d."

Is everyone else seeing the same short, wide, blank box when clicking "Download and Install" for Update 4? Steps to reproduce are:Log in to ColdFusion 2021 AdministratorPackage ManagerAvailable Versions: select "ColdFusion 2021 Update 4"Click "Download and Install" The background dims and a blank box appears alongside the "Core Server" image... and then nothing. This happens on several machines in a variety of browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge) and is unimpacted by disabling extensions. Thanks for any pointers.

This is always a head scratcher. Is there a way to simply install a server update and any packages that may need to be updated as well? I seem to only be able to do the reverse, update installed packages which may then install a server update.

I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I have a CF2021 Server which runs a Node.js websocket server and CF pages (via javascript) as a client. Messages from user to user work as expected, so no issue there.This CF Server also has a custom API built using CFML that handles and routes inbound SMS messages. My question is; what would be the best way to send the SMS message (by now its json) to the Node.js websocket to it can send it to the user(s).I tried using the same javascript that the browser client uses, but it appears that the CFML API script is "browser-less", so that doesn't work, or should it?I thought something like Apache Groovy may be the solution, but I am having difficulties with any websocket broadcast example I have found.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.thanks in advance

I am deploying a Docker image running Apache on top of Coldfusion to Azure App Service. I am unable to connect to the App Service Coldfusion Server from the Performance Monitoring Tool running on another machine.Can I connect the server to port 80/443 rather than 8500 port? Thanks!

Is there any sort of remaining log4j issue with the newest version of ColdFusion 2021? Either vulnerability or is the version of log4j included EOL?

 I’m trying to output data in the form of a grid pattern using coldfusion or MySQL . When I execute the code below, it outputs it in the regular drill down format. I Want to see if there’s a ColdFusion method and or a MySQL method that will allow my data to be out in a grid-like format With each row having a different person and each column having the results for that particular person in the row over a period of time. Please see the attached code and please also see the attached desired output. I am trying to see how I can get the desired results to look like the second image. We are running into an issue of Coldfusion looking for java in the wrong place.For some reason in the 2021 container, coldfusion is looking for java in `/opt/coldfusion2021/jre/bin/java` ,but it actually exists at `/opt/coldfusion/jre/bin/java`.I've tried setting the JAVA_HOME variable to `/opt/coldfusion/jre/bin/java` in the Dockerfile, through a .env file, and through docker-compose's environment key.I've also tried building the containers individually and running them with the -e (extra vars) flag where I set the env var.The question is:Where is the default JAVA_HOME set in the coldfusion configs? Any help will be greatly appreciatd.  Thank You,

I'm getting “java” cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified when I try to install coldfusion 2021. I am on Mac OS 11.3.1 (Coldfusion 2021 is supported on Mac OS v 11 according to this https://helpx.adobe.com/pdf/coldfusion2021-support-matrix.pdf ) I go to system preferences > Security & Privacy - it says "java was blocked from use because it is not from an identified developer" I click Allow Anyway but then cf installer says "Adobe ColdFusion 2021 quit unexpectedly." - I click Reopen and then get "The file can’t be found." ColdFusion_2021_GUI_WWEJ_osx10.dmg is the file I got from the downloads page. Can anyone from Adobe help me at all please?

After installing CF2016 Updater 17 (up from Updater 11) and going through the directions from Updater 14, I cannot access the Administrator.  The password reset feature does not work either.  I can access the admin by updating the neo_security.xml file and setting admin.security.enabled = false.  Should I try uninstalling the updaters and re-installing?

When I try to install ColdFusion 2021 developer version, I get the message “libjvm.dylib” cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified.  No matter how many times I click "Allow Anyway" in Security & Privacy, the same message occurs. I can't get by this block. What can I do to complete the installation of ColdFusion 2021?
