how often you use an adobe program is irrelevant to adobe billing.  it's the same as leasing an apartment.  if you use the apartment every hour of every day, the lease is the same as if you never use the apartment.

one difference, with an annual apartment lease, you cannot break the lease.  you owe the full one year lease amount.  adobe allows you to break a one year lease with a penalty of 1/2 the amount owed.
