Question

1TB redemption code used on a 20Mb account.

I have six months left on my 20Mb Creative Cloud account.

Does anybody know what will happen if I purchase a 1TB redemption code and apply it to my account?

i.e. will it extend my validity by 12 months or reset the product giving me 12 months of cover as a 1TB account therefore losing the six months left on my 20Mb account?

I have the same question, but unfortunately, I was too foolish to ask beforehand and ended up adding a 1 TB subscription to my 20 GB plan. Now both subscriptions are running, and I'm losing 3 months. Is there any way to fix this?

Gigi, any requests for a refund for an incorrectly applied code will need to be brought up with the seller of the code. You may want to consider making future purchases from Adobe directly to avoid duplicate subscriptions or the need to manage them. ^JW

if you're eligible, it will not extend your current plan.  you will be adding a different plan which will rollover to a paid plan.

OK, so it's best not to purchase right now else I will end up with six months of overlapping plans which is a waste of cash!

Hi , I've moved your post from the Photoshop forum to the Account, Payment and Plan forum where you are more likely to get help with your issue.

@Steve27777267f2j6 Adobe states: If you already have the same plan or product, and redeem with the same Adobe account... If your payment plan is Annual plan, prepaid, the redemption code term is added to the end of the paid subscription term." While your current 20MB account might not be explicitly "prepaid" if it's a monthly billing cycle, applying a prepaid redemption code for the same plan usually extends the duration.

I have always purchased via Amazon and used the redemption code on the same Adobe account.

The current question concerns the fact that my last redemption was for the 20Mb product whils tthis time it would be for the 1Tb product. My concern is that because the 1Tb redepmtion might be considered as a different product by Adobe, I might lose the six months remining on the current 20Mb product. Hope that clarifies.
