2FA turns on by itself

I work with multiple devices which im always asked to log in. To log in it will ask me for 2FA code sent via mail. After some time it got annoying to be copying the code se i decided to turn 2FA off. But it keeps asking me for thecode and keeps turning back on by itself. I know its recommended to have 2FA on but in my case i want to keep it off.
