51% price increase!

I just received an email from Adobe that my Photography Plan is going up from €12.29/mo to €18.60, an increase of 51%. I'm guessing that there are no extras added for this increase, other than the evolution of Lightroom/Photoshop. While I probably would have been OK with an increase in line with inflation, 51% is just absurd, so I think this is going to be it for our relationship (which has been going for quite a number of years). It'll be painful to swith to a new tool, but I'll soon see how difficult it is to switch.

Thanks for the replies. I was definitely shocked to see such a jump ni the monthly payment but I see that there's no change when using the annual plan. So I changed to that and, in preparation for what seems to be the inevitable increase to that too, I'll check out possible alternatives. That's probably something I should be doing anyway, to make sure I'm aware of what's available in the photography software ecosystem.

cost is unchanged for annual pay photography plan.

You might want to check the price for the annual prepaid plan, if you were offered that option, which I believe did not see the same price increase
