Adobe has educational plans for students, why do they not have plans for pensioners and seniors, many of whom are not financially able to afford the cost of Adobe's range of plans. A specific plan aimed at creative seniors and pensioners would make sense and have community support. The pension in the UK is less than 12k a year.
It's traditional to give free or cheap software to students. This is not kind, or because they are poor, or because Adobe want to nurture creativity. It's a business decision, based on the idea that once someone is trained with a particular product, they may soon be paying full price for it in a business, and later perhaps making purchasing decisions for thousands of copies.
