Account Access App Enless Loop

Question

On my phone, I open the Account Access App.

The launch screen asks me to log in. So, I log in.

Account Access App then tells me "Open the Adobe Account Access App and enter this number."

Why is the app asking me to open the app when the app is open?

The app cannot ask me to open the app unless I already have the app open.

This makes no sense. How do I get out of this endless loop?

Try this:Sign in to https://account.adobe.com/security. Under Two-step verification section, disable Sign in with Adobe Account Access app. Confirm that you want to deactivate Adobe Account Access app. from here:https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/passwordless-sign-in-adobe.html
