Account cancellation (not membership)

Hi, I need to cancel my ACCOUNT. Not my membership or plan.

I moved countries and they told me the only way to change my account contry is by cancelling it and opening a new one. But I can't find how to.

All the questions are about cancelling memberships.

How do I cancel my account?

    But the reason I need to delete my account it’s exactly because I can’t pay for the plans with the account being in the country I left. My plan is not active because I didn’t pay for it, because my card doesn’t work anymore.. so there isn’t any services that I used without paying.

    Are you saying I need to pay for one more year in an account from a country that I don’t live anymore to be able to delete my account to open a new one in the country I live now? (and that, for what I’ve seen, I can’t even use the same email on the new one, even if I delete this one?)

     

    Isn’t really just one option to change my country? Sound awfully complicated for such a simple problem.

    Keep in mind that if you delete your Adobe account, any email associated with the deleted account may not be used to start a new account.

    yeah, when I asked someone told me that, than I asked again and they said that if I deleted my account I could open a new one with the same one.. It’s very confusing.

    you need to cancel all subscriptions first, 

    you must cancel your subscription within the refund period.  make sure you're aware of the cancellation terms by selecting your plan type (at the top of the page here), https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/creative-cloud-subscription-terms.html

    if you want to cancel but are unable to follow the steps described in the "how to cancel page", you probably have a payment error that you need to repair before cancellation is allowed, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/kb/fix-failed-missed-payment.html

     

    then go to https://helpx.adobe.com/in/manage-account/using/delete-adobe-account.html and follow the steps

    So I need to pay for a suspended plan, to be able to cancel that plan and get a refund, to be able to delete my account, to be able to create a new account (but not with the same email for some reason) in a different country to pay for the same plan I cancelled in a different country? 😭😭

    Where can I suggest Adobe to just create a “change account country” setting? 😭

    again, contact support. we can’t see the details of your subscription and those details matter.
