Question

account sharing security issue

Hi!

I’m experiencing a persistent account security issue that I’ve been unable to resolve.

My Adobe account repeatedly shows account sharing warnings, and when I click on "Change password", the website opens in Arabic even though my main language is Spanish, and my computer and apps are in spanish.

I have already changed my password, I have a 2 factor authentification code, I have not received emails asking for a password reset or anything that would sound like someone's trying to hack my account. I've signed out from all of the devices shows, etc.

Despite all of this, the problem continues to occur.

I currently use my account with my imac, my macbook pro and my iphone (lightroom). All 3 devices are linked.

Any idea why this is happening? Thanks.

We are here to help, @axelmillar11

Have you deactivated all the devices as mentioned in this article?

Yes, i did that.

Adobe themselves forced a password change this morning due to unusual activity, hopefully this will resolve the issue.

Axelmillar, I can confirm that you have received numerous requests for password resets. I would strongly recommend that you change both the email address associated with your account and the password. A bad actor could be completing the steps listed at https://adobe.ly/4phnVKE to generate the password reset requests. There are safeguards in place, and the password will never be changed without completing the process.

However, a determined person could continue to request password resets for your Adobe account, thereby generating the multiple requests you have received since late November. There were a few requests before then, but the frequency of password reset emails seemed to increase on November 17th. You might also review what occurred on or around November 17th on your devices that could have triggered someone trying to gain access to your Adobe account.

Please see https://adobe.ly/448XZsd for information on how to change the email address associated with your Adobe account.^JW
