Trying to activate an older version of CS (CS2) and tech support chat said I needed to post here to ask for instructions.
Some help getting this activated from Tech Support would be appreciated.

Well, not sure why they sent you here... This is primarily a user-to-user forum, and there's nothing we can do here for you. Quoting Adobe Staffmember Jeff Wright, from another post:
"Unfortunately, the activation server for CS2 was disabled in 2012. We did make the non-activating version available for several years before it was discontinued.
You are welcome to speak with our support team, to see if an alternate license for Creative Suite will be offered. The links for any version of Creative Suite 2 are no longer available."
