Adding Photoshop to my plan

I've had the Lightroom plan with 1TB for a couple of years. I want to start using Photoshop, so I started a trial.

Is it safe to cancel the Lightroom plan? I don't want to be forced to sync 500GB of photos back to the cloud.

if your photography plan includes everything you want, yes, you can cancel the lr plan.  be prepared for an early cancellation fee if you cancel before the annual commitment ends.  ie, make sure you're aware of the cancellation terms by selecting your plan type (at the top of the page here), https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/creative-cloud-subscription-terms.html

and for info on how to cancel your subscription, this page describes the few steps involved, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-subscription.html

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.

if you're unable to follow the steps described, check your account (https://account.adobe.com) for a payment problem. all payment problems must be resolved before cancellation is enabled, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/kb/fix-failed-missed-payment.html

Thanks for your reply. I tried 3 times, and Adobe just closes the chat without a human ever joining.

I shouldn't have to work this hard to give Adobe my money, so I'll be cancelling the trial. If someone at Adobe wants to reach out, you have my contact info.
