Question

Addobe is a deceitful, unethical company

I have been using Adobe products for the last twenty years. No longer. Two key reasons

1) Adobe has hidden costs seems to purposely make it impossible to cancel a subscription.
I had a recent experience trying to set up a client with an Adobe Express account to try it out, but Adobe made it impossible to cancel a subscription. I "canceled" the licenses in the admin account but there was no button to delete the licenses or know for sure the account trial was canceled. The client was then charged for the Adobe subscription despite canceling the licenses and even removing the payment details from the account! I then had to waste 30 minutes asking for a refund, which takes four days to process. What a ridiculous mess! So incredibly shady and deceitful. Even small SaaS companies have better customer support than this!

2) Deterioration of Adobe Product Capabilities
I’m sure others who have been using Adobe since the CS3 days can relate, but the constant stupid advertisements within the app, and tool tips, is insufferable. On top of the fact that many key tools are somehow hidden within the user interface and “simplified”. It’s infuriating. I’m starting to use other tools for illustration and publishing, and have completely moved to Davinci video editing and effects.

3) Inferior AI abilities in Adobe
Need I say much? I think everyone is aware at how awful Adobe’s AI abilities are, despite their big advertising push regarding this. Their generative AI is so bad that I have to supplement with other tools to perform most AI tasks.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

make sure you're aware of the cancellation terms by selecting your plan type (at the top of the page here), https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/creative-cloud-subscription-terms.html

and for info on how to cancel your subscription, this page describes the few steps involved, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-subscription.html

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.
