Adobe ID account and access to files questions

Hello, I have a bunch of quite strange problems and I need some clarification.

The background:
It occurred to me that in 2018 I set up an adobe account, I don't remember why. I don't have any paid plans and I never had any. When I realized I have this account, I logged in (after password reset) it via browser, adobe acrobat (desktop), and on the phone. I recalled I was using the phone app previously along with adobe scan, as I saw one scanned document on my account (in Document Cloud I guess?) and 'adobe scan' in my download app history.

Initially, I wanted to delete this account (and I even applied for deletion several times and then withdrew the decision), but for now, I decided to leave it and I wanted to ask some things in this regard:

-What are the consequences of having this account in terms of others potentially having access to it? If someone accessed my account (in any way - via desktop app, mobile app, or via browser), would they have access to all the files I opened in these programs? I assumed that he would only have access to what I uploaded to the cloud, not all that I opened only 'via' this program (local files from the computer, phone or iCloud files I can open via mobile app as well as I'm using iPhone). Assuming having this access from a different location than my devices of course.

I'm also asking because it is unclear what would be the reason to log in to your account in the desktop app as I don't see there files I uploaded to the cloud, only local files and the option to link with dropbox, onedrive etc. To see cloud files I need to install something else probably? I have access to these cloud files from the browser and mobile app.

So long story short, I just wanted to double-check to what extent my files opened via these programs while being logged in, are safe.

-If I add 'another account' (storage like dropbox, google drive) via desktop adobe acrobat reader, phone, or browser - will that added account content be visible everywhere? For example, if I'm linking google drive using my phone - can I see these google files also using my desktop app or browser? I didn't add any account in this way, but I want to double-check to have an idea what how far this level of integration goes.

Sorry if my questions are basic and for my rather long message. Any help and answer will be appreciated. Have a great day!

Anyone having access to your account can access the data stored on the cloud (consider Document Cloud and Creative Cloud space as one).

Anyone having access to your devices can access the data stored on these devices.

There is no problem with having several Adobe ID accounts, except that you can't be logged in on more than one account on each device. You can use different browser environments to sign in into different accounts and using the differen web applications.

Thanks a lot for all the replies.

My questions resulted from the fact that I'm not entirely clear about the functioning of Adobe products and the consequences of logging in to them.

So to sum up - it is not possible for other people to remotely access the files I've opened and used with Acrobat Reader, that were not sent to Document Cloud and Creative Cloud, with my credentials, right? I.e. if the person has my credentials and tries to login via her desktop program it won't be possible for this person to open ALL the files that I opened using Acrobat Reader on all my devices - only the one I put in the Cloud.

And for this account thing - I think I worded it in the wrong way. I didn't mean other adobe accounts, but other storage accounts that can be added to one adobe account, so for example when I decide to integrate dropbox, one drive, google drive with a desktop adobe acrobat reader, phone, or browser - will that added storage account content be visible everywhere where I'm logged in with my credentials? For example, if I'm linking google drive to my adobe account using my phone app - can I see these google files also using my desktop app or browser? Or these files are treated as 'local'.

you shouldn't be using any cloud services from anyone with all your concerns.  ie, no one is going to be able to ensure your privacy .

How would anyone know you have an Adobe account or what your user ID and password are?

I assume you have your devices password protected, right?

You don't share your user accounts with other people, right?

And you do use current anti-virus and anti-spyware software, right?

your files are as safe from random people as most things on the web.  ie, hacks occur.
