Question

Adobe India does not accept my credit card for payment

I am trying to subscribe to Creative Cloud and Adobe does not accept any of my credit cards for payment. There is no other payment method available. There is no issue with my cards or bank account and I have been using them for other online or offline payments with no trouble.

Error Message: "A transaction can fail for a variety of reasons. Double check and make sure your payment information is entered correctly. If this issue persists, you may need to use a different payment method or contact your bank."

I tried using the Help Forum as per previous advice here, but when I request agent assistance the Ai chatbot says I need an active Adobe plan in order to do so. How can I activate my plan if I cannot even pay for it?

Please help!

Hello @4882795 Singh,

We'll look into this for you. Please refer to this article shared by the expert above. Also, could you confirm if you another credit card or another device for making the purchase?

Looking forward to your response.

I've been facing the same issue ever since I subscribed to Creative Cloud. Been going back and forth with Adobe and my Bank. Tried with both HDFC and Amazon ICICI Credit Card. As per bank, Adobe does not comply with RBI regulations hence ask me to contact Adobe, whereas Adobe reps redirect me to the Bank. For a while I've asked my friend to pay and surprisingly his HDFC credit card works. I've given up now, can't deal with it anymore as Adobe only accepts credit cards and not Paytm or UPI. Unfortunately,  I am going to have to give up my subscription.  Richa (anandricha777@gmail.com)

Hi there,

We are sorry for the trouble. Which bank's credit card are you using? Have you tried any alternative payment method? Looking forward to your response

Hi Shivangi,

Thank you for your response.

"Have you tried any alternative payment method?"

I only had one payment option at checkout (visa/mastercard).

I used an Axis Bank credit card which did not go through.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
