Adobe Is Scamming Customers!

We need to stand up against the subscription scam. I have never even once utilized the adobe services yet they charge my account monthly. I've tried to cancel every month and they still charge me. I tried to contact them directly and the phones don't work, tried to cancel thru PayPal and it doesn't want. Emailed them directly they don't respond and proceed to charge my account again. They are abusing clients and taking advantage as well. If your product isn't being used why are you charging tbe consumer? Because Adobe is scamming customers and taking their money in the midst of a pandemic and emergency state in the country. Just inhumane & totally white collar behavior.

Adobe Subscription Scam !

I never used the app, I canceled due to the fact I couldn't figure it out! Next thing you know adobe  is hitting my account every month, sometimes twice in a month. I called my bank and explained the situation and they refunded me. Now adobe has been trying to take from different accounts which I'm not sure how.

Hi,

We're here to help you. I see you had two subscriptions under the email ID that you are using with this community. Both subscriptions are in a suspended state which means because of some billing issues, they were suspended. One of them is still active, and that is why Adobe is trying to charge you for the same. To cancel it completely, please update your payment details.

If you need more information for your account, please get in touch with our support team:

Thanks

Kanika

If the email address is not .adobe.com, then it is a scammer. As ProDesign Tools said, Adobe does not use email for support. You can forward the email (if it's a scammer) to phishing@adobe.com).

How do I report an email, website or pop-up window that falsely claims to represent Adobe?

Jane

It doesn't really matter if you've used it or not. I could sign up for a cable TV plan and never watch it, but of course I still have to pay for it.

Adobe does not do support by email, so not sure how you could email them. The accepted forms of contact are chat and phone, as given by other posters above.

Lastly, managing your subscription on the PayPal side should definitely work; the steps are quite simple:

https://www.paypal.com/smarthelp/article/how-do-i-cancel-an-automatic-payment-i-have-with-a-merchant-faq2058

But it should also work on the Adobe side, which is the best/right way to go. Here's a good FAQ on that:

When you 'click to agree' to the subscription terms while buying a subscription, that means that you really do need to read BEFORE you enter your credit card number to buy a subscription... See this page for more information, including a yellow highlited section from the subscription page https://community.adobe.com/t5/account-payment-plan-discussions/adobe-subscription-is-a-rip-off/td-p/12648724

To Cancel https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-creative-cloud-subscription.html
-READ THIS https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/creative-cloud-subscription-terms.html#cancel
-do be aware that cancelling early means paying 1/2 of the remaining subscription time as a fee
--this is cancelling AFTER the trial converts to paid and BEFORE the end of the subscription
-or have Adobe support cancel your subscription using the "autoOpen" Chat link below

Sorry, nobody here can help with an account or payment problem
This is a public forum, you need the link to Adobe support, not other users
Be sure to remain signed in with your Adobe ID before accessing the link
Do be aware that wait times are sometimes long before an agent responds

You MUST make sure that your browser does NOT block ads, scripts, or pop-ups
You MUST also allow 'cookies' in your web browser for the link to work
This will NOT work if you are using a VPN

This link will go directly to the chat option

Type "Agent" in the chat box to bypass the chatbot and be connected to a person
-Meaning type in the word Agent in the lower right, without the quote " " marks
or
Twitter tweet @AdobeCare
.

using a browser that allows popups and cookies, contact adobe support by clicking here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human
