Adobe Needs a new Suite Plan

I just retired after 43 years as a graphic designer/art director. I've used Adobe products since Macs first came on the scene. As much as I would love to keep using the Suite for occasional home projects, I can't justify $60/month for occasional use. Adobe has plans for students... HEY ADOBE, HOW ABOUT US RETIRED FOLKS!!! For $25-30 month, I'd keep the Suite.

On a limited budget, $60/month is way too much for something I might use once a week. Get with it, Adobe, your missing a market.

The Student and Teacher plan makes financial sense to Adobe.  Potential future long time paying customers may be obtained.

I can't name one software maker that offers senior discounts.  Can you?  I think it's generally assumed that retired seniors have left the workplace to pursue other interests.  🙂

Depending on what you need the software for, the Photography Plan offers the biggest bang for your buck.

Creative Cloud Photography Plan ($10/mo for 12 months) includes the following:

    • Photoshop CC and Photoshop on iPad,
    • Camera Raw,
    • Lightroom on desktop, mobile and the web,
    • Lightroom Classic,
    • Portfolio website + hosting,
    • Adobe Express (free starter plan),
    • Bridge,
    • 20 GB cloud storage (upgradable to 1 TB for $10 extra/mo).

If you do volunteer work, TechSoup.org offers discounts to non-profits with 501c3 tax status.

    Hope that helps.

As a marketing person, you should know that if no one else offers it, it's an opportunity.

Whatever, I'll find free software that will do what I need.

I'm not a marketing person, just a fellow product user like you.

Adobe employees rarely visit these user-to-user forums.

    Good luck.
