Adobe pretends I did not cancel the free trial

I downloded free trial Adobe Ilustrator and after 3 or 4 days cancelled the free trial. I remember throughly going through all of the steps to cancel it and it was definitley done and this morning I found a charge on my account for the `Ilustrator and when I checked the Ilustrator the account was there as if I never cancelled it. So I cancelled it all again, but I am concerned that they will just pretend that I did not and charge me again next month. I feel very much befrauded. Their custummer service is none existant, no live human to talk to, so I have basicall been robbed off money they had no right to take.

Hi, it looks that Adobe has realised the error and reimbursed me the next day. I assume there was some sort of delay in processing the cancellation hence the payment was taken 🤷🏻‍♀️ Anyway, now I feel bad for being angry 🫣

It is ok, Irina. It sounds like it was a frustrating experience for you, and I am sorry.

Please feel free to refer anyone else who wishes to cancel a trial or active membership to https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-subscription.html which will guide them through the self-cancel process for most memberships. If people want help or to discuss fees, then our chat team is available at https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen to help further.

I hope you have a great day, Irina!

Irina, I am sorry for any trouble you encountered canceling your membership. I can confirm that the memberships under the account you used to post to this public discussion forum have been canceled. Please click on https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen as suggested by Kglad for any questions about charges or fees.

did you save your confirmatory email that you cancelled?

did you check your account to see your cancellation was pending or completed?, https://account.adobe.com

and finally, contact adobe support. there are 2 ways to contact adobe; chat and twitter:

chat:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies
and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.

twitter:
tweet @AdobeCare

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative. ie, double check for an employee badge if contacted in the forums and look for an adobe.com domain in the email address if you click reply to an email. then check again and be very suspicious. any other method of contacting (or offering to contact you) is almost certainly a scam, https://community.adobe.com/t5/using-the-community-discussions/staying-safe-in-the-adobe-support-community/td-p/12919684/redirect_from_archived_page/true
