Adobe’s Student Creative Cloud Price Hike: A Blow to Affordability in Education

Students typically have little funds and need subsidized plans to access creative tools for school. This abrupt price hike may make Creative Cloud unaffordable for many, hindering learning and professional advancement. Adobe appears to be exploiting students' dependence on their platform for profit rather than education.

Correct answer Kanikas

Hi Shivangi Gupta,

Yes, I did check the article, but it doesn’t really address the core issue. My concern is about the affordability for students after the recent price hike. Many of us rely on Creative Cloud for coursework and skill-building, and such an increase can genuinely impact access.

Would love to know if there are any upcoming student discounts or alternative solutions being considered.

Hi jamies_5166,

We hear you! Please go through the details for Student/teacher discounts: https://adobe.ly/40OIZhz;

Other than the discounts mentioned in the above article there is nothing available as of now, however, we shall definitely share your feedback with the team.

Hope this helps!

Thanks

I agree! This is a cruel and exploitative cost increase, and a transparent money grab for adobe. It's bad for students, it's bad for the education programs that teach students these tools, and it's bad for the professions these education programs sustain with emerging talent. I contacted support to ask about the increase and they addressed my concerns by insisting I'm getting a good deal and then tried to get me to upgrade with the new ai tools, which was a wild move considering I reached out regarding my ability to afford the basics.
