Adobe Service Charge - Trial Period

On December 17th, I started a trial of Acrobat Pro, which I canceled the same day. However, on December 25th, I was charged for the Adobe AI service, which was part of the package I had started the free trial of. Why did they charge me, given that I canceled during the trial period? I want my money back.

Hi @massimo_8011,

Thanks for reaching out. I reviewed your account details and found that you have cancelled all your subscriptions. However, I could not locate any refund being initiated. Please contact our support team here: https://adobe.ly/4seQ1Is

They'll help you with the process.

AI may be a separate charge and may also need to be canceled.

Check your account:

ai for acrobat and acrobat are two different subscriptions.  if you don't want both, you should cancel both.  ie, your account probably still shows the ai subscription.  cancel it.

make sure you're aware of the cancellation terms by selecting your plan type (at the top of the page here), https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/creative-cloud-subscription-terms.html

and for info on how to cancel your subscription, this page describes the few steps involved, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-subscription.html

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.

if you're unable to follow the steps described, check your account (https://account.adobe.com) for a payment problem. all payment problems must be resolved before cancellation is enabled, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/kb/fix-failed-missed-payment.html

We can't help you with that. This is a user-to-user forum for folks having technical issues with Acrobat. You can find out how to cancel your subscription, and hopefully, how you can get your money back, through Adobe's official help page for canceling subscriptions, this is available through this link.

Hope this helps,

Randy

Why did this guy get support in this forum?

https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/adobe-acrobat-trying-to-charge-me-event-i-cancelled-my-subscription-give-me-back-my-money/td-p/15585457

However, the page you linked to only allows me to chat with a bot.

I've already canceled my plan; I just want my money back.
