Question

Adobe Software has shut me out.

When I attempt to open PP, the account decides to use my FB account instead of Google. When I click the link to change accounts, I am redirected to a window which says my browser OR operating system is out-of-date. First of all, everything was working great until a few weeks ago, so why is it suddenly everyone's business what OS I'm running? And why won't signing into the correct account from the Adobe site rectify the problem? Thirdly, is this just going to be another company that likes to continually add problems to problems for the sake of having problems?

Modern operating systems use TLS 1.2 connections by default.  So I assume you're on Win7??  You won't be able to connect to Adobe's servers until you enable TLS 1.2 connections on your end. This is a security measure to protect everyone.

Get the MS EasyFix.msi from Microsoft, install it and restart your computer.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/247500/tls-11-and-tls-12-easy-fix-download-missing.html

Hope that helps.

it's not your os, it's your browser's security.  adobe upped the security requirements for browsers recently.

in your control panel note your default browser then check if tls 1.2 is enabled in that browser, End of Life for TLS 1.0 and 1.1 support (adobe.com)
