Adobe Support state they cannot change my country of location?!

I have been on chat operatives three times today to inform them that I have moved to the UK and need to change my country of location so that I pay the correct fees for being a UK resident. 

 

I am a student and also have my Adobe Portfolio site associated with my personal email. 

 

I can not even begin to understand why on earth Adobe's customer services operatives cannot change my account location to the UK! When I try to add a new UK based payment card the country/location is greyed and locked at my previous location.

 

Someone at Adobe must be able to rectify this! My account fees will double in moving to the UK, but I can't pay for the correct subscription because of this ridiculous inability to update your own location!

I have one final question about this matter, and I am really not happy as to why in this day and age a change of address is nigh on impossible, if I purchase the full yearly student subscription from Amazon UK and apply this to my account using the purchased serial, will this update my subscription and enable me to keep my current account as it is?


No, Bleachershane. The newly acquired subscription will be under the new account in the UK. As part of the account creation process, you will be asked to use an e-mail address that is not already in use.

The country associated with your adobe id must match the store you purchase from and must match the payment address. otherwise, change what's necessary:

When trying to buy a plan and therefore add a new card that will change the location of my billing details, the location box is greyed out? Why and how do I remedy this? Why is it so difficult to change your location through Adobe, they had done this before for me!
