Adobe took £50 from my bank account and I can't get a hold of their customer support

If you rant at staff they will disconnect you. They are not obliged to put up with abuse.  Stick to the facts and be polite.

You must have signed up for a plan and given your credit card? Otherwise, how could they have charged your card?
