Question

Adobe won’t let me delete my account

I have an adobe acrobat account. A payment failed for the AI assistant. I never chose to have this, I don’t want it. But they’re attempting to charge my (empty) bank account. I went to cancel this plan I never consented to. It said I had to change my payment method. I only have one payment method. It all links back to my empty account. I went to go and delete my account, but it doesn’t let me unless I cancel the plan. But I’m not allowed to cancel my plan unless I change my payment method. They’re making it impossible to delete my account, and I can’t even contact them. What do I do? I don’t want them to take money for something I never consented to, and I don’t want to have to pay to delete my account.

    Hi @eeeaaaaa,

    We appreciate you reaching out.

I reviewed your account details and found that you have an pending dues on your AI Assistant for Adobe Acrobat subscription. Account deletion can only be done when there is no active subscription associated with the account. Please follow this article to fix it: https://adobe.ly/3QjDvJi

    I hope it helps.

I do not have other payment options. I have never used AI and never will. I never consented to this. I shouldn’t have to pay to delete my account.
