Question

Advice on which CC plan to get ? I want the Photography plan, but am reluctant due to 20GB storage..

So I'm lookin' to downgrade my CC subscription as I'm paying way too much for what I actually use. Right now, I have all the creative cloud apps, along with 100GB of CC storage. I only use Lightroom (both desktop and iOS), Lightroom Classic and Photoshop (also desktop and iOS) on a consistent enough basis that I feel I get my moneys worth, as well as the CC storage.

I've had a look at my options, and it seems I have two, really:

  • The one that seems the best for me is the Photography Plan, which just includes the apps I mentioned above, along with some other bits but only GB of storage, for £10.42/month. The 20GB storage is holding me back, I would say at least 100GB is preferable. If it wasn't 20GB, this plan would be the easiest choice no doubt.

  • The other option is the Photoshop Plan. This again has the main apps I mentioned before, as well as some extras like Premiere Rush and Fresco, that're nice but I just wouldn't really use. But this includes 1TB of CC storage which is amazing. This one is £20.84/month. In the end though this is only £6 cheaper than what I pay now, and I feel like the price-to-what-I-get just isn't worth it.

Does anybody have any suggestions/knowledge of if I could get the Photography plan for £10.24/month, and then upgrade the CC storage to something more along the lines of ~100GB or higher? I can't find how to check what the price for this would be, or if it would just work out around the same price - or even more - as the Photoshop Plan in the end anyways. When I follow the steps as if I was going to change to the Photography plan, the dropdown for choosing cloud storage is greyed out and locked at 20GB.

Anyone got any advice on what to go for here ?

The other thing to keep in mind is the cancellation fee on the CC All Apps subscription. Adobe are unlikely to waive this on a downgrade, so you may want to time the change for the 12th month where there is no fee.
