After redeeming the code, the remaining 3 months of the previous license were cancelled

As I do every year, I purchased a new Creative Cloud license. 
However, after redeeming the code, three months remained on my previous subscription, and they were canceled.
What can I do to recover the lost time?"

 Yes that's exactly right, I have two subscriptions to the same product.
The seller assured me that even if I redeemed the code immediately, the new subscription would start when the active subscription expired. But no. I complained to the seller, and he washed his hands of the matter, saying I had to resolve the issue with Adobe. Thanks

if the products were exactly the same, the expiration of your original plan would extend.  but the plans must not be exactly the same.
