Annual Subscription Issues
It appears my annual subscription ends on November 3, 2026. I intend to take up the issue of Adobe unilaterally converting my monthly payment plan into an annual subscription—resulting in charges being deducted from my account for the past year—with their legal department. But how can they justify charging me a fee of nearly 100 EUR just because I want to cancel my subscription?
Here is the problem: when I go to the subscription management section, it clearly states that I can either renew the plan for 144 EUR (on an annual commitment) or pay a 100 EUR early termination fee—while still having access to their services for another 14 days! This is daylight robbery! Essentially, it is impossible to leave without Adobe demanding a "bribe." As I understand it, I either pay 100 EUR now to be done with Adobe for good, or the annual commitment renews on November 3, 2026, and the whole cycle repeats. What if I simply want to switch to a monthly, no-commitment billing plan starting November 3? That’s not an option either. I will address the fact that I was effectively robbed of approximately 144 EUR over the past year separately.
What should I do? I’ve written to support several times with no response; their idiotic AI chat probably can’t even understand a simple "hello." I’m at my wit's end.
Why does Adobe continue to unilaterally deduct money from my account, even though I submitted a written request to transfer my services to a different Adobe ID (associated with my company)—a move that actually involved upgrading to a full package, including 3D tools? This happened over a year ago; up until then, I was paying a monthly fee (WITHOUT AN ANNUAL COMMITMENT!) just for the photography package...
I’m really curious to see how Adobe handles this...
