Question

Anyone else mysteriously get switched to a different plan?

I remember specifically switching to the photography only plan because I never used any of the other apps. There is no reason for me to have ever switched back because I haven't even been using the photography apps much in the past year. Yet today I found out I have been charged for all the apps?

You say you switched. Here's a question for you. Did you "switch" by just taking out a photography plan - not by calling Customer Service, not by cancelling the old plan? If so - you never stopped the old plan... so you will for sure pay for both. If so, you wouldn't be the first.

No. I only had the everything plan because they were offering a discount for the first year. The first time I was charged the full price I switched to the photography plan because I don't use most of the apps. I was only paying for the photography plan. Then randomly I was switched to the everything plan again. There's no reason I would have done that myself considering, when I was switched back, I was barely even using the photography apps.

Exactly how did you switch?

contact adobe support. there are 2 ways to contact adobe; chat and twitter:

chat:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies
and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.

twitter:
tweet @AdobeCare

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative. ie, double check for an employee badge if contacted in the forums and look for an adobe.com domain in the email address if you click reply to an email. then check again and be very suspicious. any other method of contacting (or offering to contact you) is almost certainly a scam, https://community.adobe.com/t5/using-the-community-discussions/staying-safe-in-the-adobe-support-community/td-p/12919684/redirect_from_archived_page/true

I did. But they aren't going to tell me if other people have mysteriously been switched to different plans.

of course not, but they should be able to ensure you have the plan you want.
