Automatic delete of subscription

Hello everyone,

My payment for All Creative Cloud 100 Go at 62€ per month was not accepted yesterday.

Adobe tells me that if I don't do anything, my subscription will automatically be deleted.

But, I tried a few months ago to delete personally my subscription, and they are asking for a fee if I don't do it at a certain time.

Can someone tell me if they will give me a fee if they automatically delete my subscription?

I need a very fast answer.

Thanks very much.

Theo

Hi there,

Happy to help!

We have checked your account and we see that you have an active Cretive Cloud subscription under the email address associated with the community which has a billing issue hence, you will not be able to cancel the subscription until the issue of the billing is resolved.

Please log in to the Adobe account and you should be able to see all the active plans.

https://account.adobe.com/

If you cancel within 14 days of your initial order, you’ll be fully refunded. Should you cancel after 14 days, you’ll be charged a lump sum amount of 50% of your remaining contract obligation and your service will continue until the end of that month’s billing period.

For your future reference, please follow the link below which has the steps on how to cancel a subscription.

https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-subscription.html

Also, please read the article to learn about cancellation terms for your subscription.

Since, this is a community forum, if you have any further questions regarding billing or cancellation, we would request you to contact our Customer Support team via chat and you will get all the help you require in order to resolve the issue.

If you are not able to get to the chat window, then disable your adblockers, firewall, enable cookies/scripts on your browser. If it still fails then change your browser/machine/network.

Please do not share any personal/confidential information like email ID, bank details, etc here. This is a public forum.

Hope the information was helpful to you. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Sincerely,

Hi, thanks for this answer but you are not answering my question.

I'm asking you if there will be a fee if Adobe deletes automatically my account and NOT if I do it personally. I know already that I cannot delete it personally.

there's a fee for early cancellation of an annual subscription paid monthly.  there's no fee for a monthly subscription, nor for an annual subscription paid annually (though you forfeit what you've already paid, so that's essentially a penalty).

it doesn't matter who cancels. it's a matter of when you cancel (during the trial, no fee).  after the trial, there's a fee (unless adobe support waves that fee).  and that's the main benefit of contacting adobe support even if it's after the trial period.  they can be very forgiving according to many users that post here.

the penalty will be assessed just like a credit card debt.  even though adobe has no valid credit card from you, the debt will appear on your credit record and cause issues for up to 7 years (in the usa).

so, contact adobe support if you can't cancel yourself. make sure you're aware of the cancellation terms by selecting your plan type (at the top of the page here), https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/creative-cloud-subscription-terms.html

for info on how to cancel your subscription, this page describes the few steps involved, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-subscription.html

if you want to cancel but are unable to follow the steps described in the "how to cancel page", contact adobe support.

there are 3 ways to contact adobe; chat, phone and twitter:

chat:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies, and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.

phone:

twitter:
tweet @AdobeCare

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative. ie, double check for an employee badge if contacted in the forums and look for an adobe.com domain in the email address if you click reply to an email. then check again and be very suspicious. any other method of contacting (or offering to contact you) is almost certainly a scam, https://community.adobe.com/t5/using-the-community-discussions/staying-safe-in-the-adobe-support-community/td-p/12919684/redirect_from_archived_page/true
