being charged for CC pro that I didn't sign up for after ending my month to month plan.

This just happened to me today. I only needed illustrator for a month so I signed up for the month 19.99$. I checked today when the month is over because I wanted to cancel before the month renewed as I didn't need it any longer. I went to my account and ended the Illustrator which it stated that July 4th would be the last day. Great! I thought. Then I noticed that Creative Cloud Pro was listed underneath and thought that was odd because I never signed up for the Pro. I only used illustator. So I went to cancel that, even though I never signed up for it and it states that to cancel that early would I would be charged 109$ That also had a July 4th date so I was like, okay I'll just wait until the exact day (which is scam that you ahve to cancel ON THE DAY. Adobe is truly hoping people forget). about 20 minutes later I get a notification from my credit card that Adobe has charged me 164.95$ For what, I have no idea. It wasnt early termination fee b/c that is 109$. If it's for CCPro I shouldnt have charged me yet b/c it states a July 4th date. So I immediately get on message with someone who says they canceclled everything and I should get a refund back. I'll be on the look out for sure. Just posting this so that other people are aware that they are still making random charges to people. Check your accounts folks! Watch for Adobe trying to get every last dollar out of you. So glad I never have to use them again.

Hi @44871289,

We appreciate you reaching out. I reviewed your account details and found that

  • You started a Creative Cloud Pro + Adobe Stock trial on May 28.
  • You were sent a confirmation email on the same day informing about the charges that will incur post trial.
  • The trial converted to a paid plan on June 4, 2025.
  • Also, I can see that you’ve successfully cancelled Adobe Stock, but Creative Cloud Pro is still active.

Adobe offers full refund only if the subscription is cancelled within 14 days window. This is valid for both (a single app) and (all apps) plan. Early cancellation fee is charged if the cancellation is done after 14 days. Please check out this article for more details: https://adobe.ly/43UTyS9

Hello Shivangi,

• I did not start CC pro + Adobe stock trial on May 28th. I never clicked on anything that stated I was agreeing to or signing up for CC pro. I only ever wanted/needed Illustrator. So while CC pro might have started up on my account that was because of some shady "agreement" that was unclear and auto signed me up.  If I saw that the membership was 164.95$ I would not have agreed as I didnt even need CC pro.

• I did get an email on May 28th but it was is not for CC pro it is a "getting started with Illustrator" email and says nothing about any charges.

• the free trial was converted to a paid plan but that was for Illustrator only! I only ever needed Illustrator.

• The reason CC Pro is still active because I can not cancel it early without paying 109$ early cancellation fee, which is absurd. So July 4th is my end date and I will make sure that on that day it is cancelled for good.

thanks. JL
