Been using Photoshop for more than a decade. Sporadic hobby user.  The change over to monthly subscription was no good me but I stuck with Photoshop. $15 per month was acceptable.  Regrettably, Adobe has been charging my credit account (my wife's card on the same account) ADDITIONAL $15, $15 and $70 monthly for YEARS.  My card only has 1x $15.  My wife assumed Adobe charges were my hobby subscription(s).  I assumed I am only charged $15.  That is what I see in my profile.   Our bad for not finding out sooner.

Adobe has no idea what services or email address are associated with the additional charges.  In fact, Adobe does not know what email is associated with those charges.  Without the OWNER's email address, Adobe cannot cancel ongoing charges!

I am removing Adobe's authorization to debit my credit card.  After more than a decade of photoshop (a little less time for Light Room), it is time to find an alternative.   I should know better to thoroughly check my credit card charges.  A FYI for the community!

contact adobe support and rectify any problems.  there are 2 ways to contact adobe support; chat and twitter (now x):

chat:
if you have or want to purchase a subscription, use a browser that allows popups and cookies
and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.

twitter/x:
tweet @AdobeCare

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.
