Bought Acrobat Pro DC 2025 lifetime license - is it legit?

I purchased this product from <known scammer>wowcher:</known scammer >

before I knew that Adobe doesn't sell lifetime licenses anymore.

The seller required me to download Acrobat pro from their own link and also run a third party activation application reminiscent of piratebay cracked software.

They are refusing to refund me and are claiming that 'for every
sold license an invoice and contract to what the license belong, we
don't have any problem to send this to you, off course after signing an
NDA for privacy reasons.'

If possible could someone from Adobe confirm whether or not this is a legitimte license or not.

thank you for your response. I didn't use this email address when installing the files and when I realised it may have been a potential security hazard I uninstalled immediately.

Is it possible it is a legitimate product or not?

The advert was for Adobe Acrobat Pro 2025 DC lifetime license, there was a product serial given with the file but at no point did I need to enter it. The seller required me to download the installation files using their own download links, including an update file and an 'activation'. I was to install the setup files, run the update file then apply the activation file which was a standalone exe file. When I did this acrobat opened and worked but after an automatic update I was required to sign in and subscribe, following which the program closed.

It was only after this when I started to search online for help I realised Acrobat is now subscription only and what I bought was probably an illegal copy which had been altered to bypass activation checks.

What I want is some confirmation of this from Adobe so I can seek a refund from the wowcher as the actual seller is still refusing to refund claiming it is a legitimate product.

I'm pretty sure that's the case but I wanted some confirmation from Adobe so I can seek a refund as the seller is still insisting it's a legitimate product.
