Question

Bought the wrong plan - One year instead of 1 month - What to do?

Hi Clouders,

So I have been looking for a way to contact Adobe but this seems to be my best bet. I bought a Creative Cloud plan to do a project for a friend of mine. When I wanted to cancel it, it told me it would cost +100$, because I bought a 1 year plan instead of 1 month plan.

Please, can anyone help me get out of the plan without paying this big amount? I have nothing to do with it for now...

Help is much appreciated!

you can plead for mercy but if you contracted for an annual subscription more than 2 weeks ago, you're in a fix.

check the cancellation terms by selecting your plan type (at the top of the page here), https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/creative-cloud-subscription-terms.html

and for info on how to cancel your subscription, this page describes the few steps involved, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-subscription.html

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.

if you're unable to follow the steps described, you'll need to await help from an adobe employee for the next step.  (if you don't get a reply here from a badged employee within 24 hours, repost.)
