Question

Can a team with individual Adobe accounts work on the same indd file in the cloud?

Hi!

We are a team producing a weekly newspaper. We have 2 sections of the paper, and 1 indd file for each section.

We work all at different times with the same 2 files that is saved in Dropbox.

I see that some of Adobes programs have cloud syncing (Lightroom for example) but I guess it's just for the owner of the account to sync between his/her own devices, right?

Is it possible for us to work in the same file in the cloud and save the file without causing problem? I think it's not possible with our current dropbox solution(?) but maybe Adobe has something?

Or is there another solution for working in teams with indesign documents?

br

Anders

If you're asking if Creative Cloud allows teams members to work on the same file simultaenously, no.  No system can do that.

Typically, collaborators check files in/out of their network server to work on them.  Maybe you should talk to your organization's IT dept about setting up a network server or versioning control system on GitHub.

Creative Cloud for Teams is software and services for businesses.  Your IT dept assigns an Admin to manage user seats and grant access to digital assets. See below for more details.
