Can I buy Creative Cloud license from another country's adobe page?

Hi, the question kinda says it - I checked the availability two weeks ago and Creative cloud was supported for individuals in B&H, I wanted to see the pricing details today and I got the message saying it's not supported anymore.

I tried to follow the link to the resellers page but it was broken - is it going to be updated??

Is it alright if I go to another country's adobe page and buy the license, even though I'm not based there? I'm not sure.

Hi @Sajra325383288t28,

Yes, you can purchase an Adobe Creative Cloud license from another country's Adobe website, but there are a few important things to keep in mind:

  1. Adobe licenses are region-specific: Adobe typically requires that you purchase Creative Cloud from the Adobe website corresponding to your billing address and payment method. For example, if your billing address is in India, you should ideally purchase from the Indian Adobe site using an Indian payment method

  2. Payment method matters: Even if you access another country’s Adobe site using a VPN or by changing your region, your payment method (credit/debit card or PayPal) must match the country selected. Otherwise, the transaction may fail or be flagged

  3. Using the software abroad: Once you’ve purchased a license, you can use Creative Cloud apps anywhere in the world. So if you buy it in one country and move to another, your apps will still work. However, if you need to update your billing info or switch regions later, you may need to cancel your current plan and start a new one in the new region

  4. Changing regions: Adobe doesn’t currently support changing the region of an existing account directly. If you move countries and want to switch to local pricing or payment methods, you’ll likely need to cancel your subscription and create a new one under a new Adobe ID or after contacting Adobe Support

Hi Shivani_Gupta,

I live in a country where Adobe doesn’t officially sell Creative Cloud subscriptions (Bosnia and Herzegovina), so I’d like to check what’s allowed.

Is it acceptable to create an Adobe account under my own email, but have a friend or relative in a supported country (e.g. Austria or the UK) purchase the subscription using their credit card and billing address—while I’m the only person using the account, on a single machine, under my own login?

Specifically, would Adobe consider this a problem due to the mismatch between billing country and login location, or is this setup generally tolerated if there’s no account sharing or misuse?

Thanks in advance for the clarification.

Sorry, it won’t happen again. It was an attempt to connect directly with an Adobe representative — I found this thread while searching for a way to resolve my issue. Thank you again!
