Can't switch from Illustrator plan to all apps plan

Ok, so I used to have the Photoshop plan and that was all I needed. A couple years later I got a new job and needed Illustrator, so I bought the Illustrator plan too. Then I needed Animate, so I thought I'd just pay for all apps instead of 3 separate bills. Good idea right?

Wrong.

After I upgraded to all apps I couldn't cancel my Illustrator plan. WTF??!!!

Apparently I failed to read the fine print that I'm locked into my Illustrator contract for a full year. So I'm paying about $240 extra for absolutely nothing. So irritated that I'd like to start getting really vocal about my experience. I'm a creative professional in the game industry with a contact list I've built over the past 15 years.

Please just do the right thing. Let me switch to the all apps plan, and don't keep charging me extra every month. I've been a loyal customer for decades. This is not the right way to do business.

So what you are saying is that you didn't actually upgrade your Illustrator plan, you took out an all apps plan and assumed it would automatically delete/replace the old plan. It doesn't (though I don't know why not, and I can see why you might assume it would). You would need to contact Adobe (THIS IS NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE) to make your case for this - and to make such an upgrade you need to contact them in advance. Warning: Adobe won't contact you, but SCAMMERS might.
